New Year's Eve at the Carnegie Library

We had a heck of a time North of the Potomac once again--this time for New Year's Eve at the stunning Carnegie Library. Thanks to our friends from The Mason Inn and George, we played to 1200 partygoers for a killer sold-out event.  It was our third sold-out NYE in a row, the third time we were able to enjoy Walter Ego's Auld Lang Syne piano improvisation, the third time that we were all together at midnight for Topper's birthday, but the first time for many of the partygoers that they were exposed to yacht rock. These pictures below [photos: Daniel Swartz/www.revamp.com] proved once again that Hall & Oates covers are timeless, and that yacht rock is the perfect soundtrack both for a little afternoon delight and wee-hours dance parties.
"Richmond, Virginia-based Yacht Rock tribute band Three Sheets To The Wind commanded center stage inside the building's main entrance hall, while DJ Phaser (Jay Haynes), Zach Williams, and John Almond took charge of the soundtrack in the adjoining rooms." - Daniel Swartz for www.revamp.com
