Richmond Bride Magazine's Winter Spring issue will hit the stands on December 1st, 2012, but you can view the online version on your iPad via the Richmond Magazine app from the App Store.
Wow. What. A. Year!
For readers of Richmond Bride Magazine to vote us--the wedding band for people who hate wedding bands--as "Top Band for Weddings" makes us think we might actually be on to something here! We believe that people are tired of the same old bands, and that we're a fresh alternative to "traditional" wedding bands. We believe that we're responsible for making sure that weddings are well-run and classy, but never stuffy. We believe that every bride deserves for her band to learn a special request, and to nail it on stage. We believe that all wedding bands should have a confident (cocky?) emcee to help with the flow of the evening. We believe that top wedding bands should have in-ear monitors, go direct where possible, and make sure that no one ever complains about the band being too loud. We also believe that people who "get it," and are not afraid of guilty pleasure party rock should have a wedding band option that they can be excited to book.
Any time we're lucky enough to be named as tops in any category, we view it not as validation that we've reached a peak, but as motivation to continue to improve. We look forward to hitting new heights in 2013!
Thanks to everyone who voted!
